I survived the ferry disaster – but lost 17 of my family

On a fateful day, I found myself aboard a ferry that was met with a tragic accident. The chaos and panic that ensued were beyond anything I had ever experienced. As the ferry started to sink, I remembered the faces of my family members who were with me on the journey.

Amidst the chaos, I managed to escape the sinking ferry and somehow made it to safety. But the relief of surviving was quickly overshadowed by the crushing reality that 17 of my family members did not make it out alive. The grief and pain of losing them in such a tragic way will always haunt me.

As I reflect on that day, I am filled with gratitude for being alive but also overwhelmed with sorrow for the lives that were lost. The memories of the ferry disaster will forever be etched in my mind, serving as a reminder of the fragility of life and the importance of cherishing every moment with loved ones.

My heart goes out to all those who have been affected by the ferry disaster, and I hope that no one else has to experience the pain of losing their loved ones in such a tragic way.
