Mum fears for safety after car stripped twice
A mother of two young children in the small town of Cloverdale is living in fear after her car was targeted and stripped of its parts not once, but twice.
The first incident occurred just two weeks ago, when the mum, who wishes to remain anonymous, woke up to find her car sitting on bricks with all four tires missing. She reported the incident to the local police, but unfortunately, they were unable to find any suspects.
Thinking it was just a one-time occurrence, the mum decided to have her car repaired and put it out of her mind. However, her sense of safety was shattered once again when she woke up yesterday morning to find her car’s windows smashed and her stereo system stolen.
Now, the mum is worried not only for the safety of her vehicle but also for the safety of herself and her children. She feels violated and vulnerable, and is pleading for the community to come together and help her find the perpetrators before they strike again.
Local authorities are investigating the incidents and have increased patrols in the area, but the mum remains on edge, constantly looking over her shoulder and checking on her car multiple times a day.
Unfortunately, car thefts and break-ins are not uncommon in the town of Cloverdale, but this recent string of incidents has left residents on high alert and wondering if they could be the next victims.
